What a food! What a service! What an atmosphere! Unusual design, but fits perfectly in big picture. A la matricana, beef, deserts…The only doubt is if next time I should try fish or stay with continental food!!!’

From the start when we arrived everything was perfect. The food, monkfish with gnocchi and truffles- delicious!! Ossobuco excelent, waiters polite and friendly. Beautifull ambiance. Highly recommended!

The restaurant was recently renovated and has a wonderful Art Deco/Noveau feel to it now. We ordered their homemade bread, squid rolls, prawns, and gnocchi. This was probably my favorite meal of the trip. Everything was delicious. I also ordered a glass of Maraschino, which is a must since it originates from Zadar, and it was perfect on the hot day. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. After a hot day at Krka it was a perfect meal.

Prvo Vam se zelim zahvaliti na prekrasnoj veceri, atmosferi, uslužnosti i bozanstvenoj hrani. Toliko ljubavi se vidi u hrani i ambijentu. Osoblju sve pohvale jer je sve na tolikom nivou, a opet toliko opusteno. Ako ste u Zadru obvezno posjetite ovaj restoran, uzivajte u hrani i vinima. Hvala Vam na svemu!

Well like some our other restaurant visits on our trip to Croatia the place was empty but the food was certainly not a disappointment. My wife wanted lobster and we had walked past the restaurant at lunchtime and popped in mainly to check that they were open. They offered to get a fresh lobster for her. When we duly turned up they showed her a choice of two lobster she could have and it came cooked to perfection. (…)

We received such a personal and wonderful dining experience at Kornat. The service was the best I’ve ever experienced. The quality of food was out-of-this-world. I’d recommend this beautiful and extraordinary restaurant to anyone visiting Zadar.
